Traditional architecture. Tongkonan is the traditional home of Toraja people. The roof resembles a boat, made of bamboo structures but currently the majority of tongkonans use a tin roof. 3. BANUA Duang lanta 'which consisted of two rooms, namely:
  • Sumbung, southern part of the space that is not so wide and serves to bed and save possessions.
  • Sali, which functions as a meal offering, a kitchen and a place to put the bodies.
